so whats next?

Post by bbspolo »

sadly ive liked all the wheeling and dealing thats gone with setting up the group buy on the arbs so ive been thinking whats next?

Three things pop into my head.

first is 2 arrange getting a run of carbon bonnets made up! just a guess but if there were anothe of us £300-350 would proberly see it done

second is 2 arrange a budget big brake upgrade arranged? was thinking seat or evo bremcos (there the same ) with custom brackets using 280m g60 disks could proberly get this done for 500-600 pound with everthing included calipers, brackets, disks, pads and braided hoses!

third option is abit cheeper! strut braces? front upper and lower and rear! again if it was a group of 10 could get them all done and painted by the a guy who builds wrc cosworths for just over 150 a pop!
what do u think? any other idears?

would proberly have 2 be runs of 10 2 get bits this cheep

I'd consider the carbon fibre bonnet and big brake upgrade.

yes mate can get anything made however its a cost thing! a mould alone can cost up2 £1000 ! which isnt a problem when buying big things like bonnets becouse the cost of the mold can be split !
10 bonnets at 300 pound plus the 100 each for the mould !
was thinking of front splitters as i belive there would be more of a market for them!

ModifiedMadness have u ever seen silver carbon? it looks w**k !

brembo upgrade costs a silly amount...and you need at least 16's (and even then only wheels with plenty of space) to fit the brakes...so thats a nono to you max!

also they are 308mm not 280mm, the standard ibiza cupra brakes are similar to g60's and are 280mm

even on my 17's i have less than a mm of space between the brake and the wheels

so brembo + polo = bad idea

Yep, on a MK5 Golf at GTi Spring Festival, they looked great!

Was with Si_GTi and Olop_Chris, they'll confirm they did indeed look good 8)

I'd be interested in the strut braces, although I can get them trade price at the moment so the price would have to be good!

I'd love a carbon fibre splitter! (like Silkys)
