I was at a junction to get to the main road from where I live on the way to work on Friday morning. I was abit late and first 2 buses went by, I looked to my right and I could see a car coming with another car pulling a horse box and a lorry behind that so I thought "b*llocks to it" and pulled out quickly.
It wasn't dangerous, but under normal circumstances (i.e no rush to get anywhere) I would have waited. After pulling out the car suddenly felt very juddery and I noticed the exhaust emission warning light was on. I was convinced the car was about to cut out. Then a mile or so down the road everything returned to normal. No juddering and the warning light was off.
Very strange I thought. Any thoughts on what could have happened?
Car felt like it was going to cut out ..
It has happened once before a few months ago, but under different circumstances. I was going from a 30mph to 60mph zone and as I put my foot down I went over a bump and the "symptoms" described in the first post happened.
Do you think I should try cleaning the throttle body? Or just leave it for now?
@ Bepe: I use V Power so it better have not been that

If it happens when accelrating hard, or going over a bump it could be a dodgy connection somewhere...
When you clean the throttle body make sure you check all the cable connectors....
Might even be worth popping them off one at a time and spraying in a contact cleaner designed for electrical connectors (Halfords sell it)
