hello all another new person here.im getting a 1.4cl polo tomorrow 3 door in red and its on a 1998 r platetotal standard but watch this space :lol: :lol: i needed some thing cheaper on fuel and swapped this for my mk3 golf vr6 :wink:

well im not really a kit person so it will be lowered,rims,exhaust and some other bits.the money i save from petrol will help out on mods as well :lol: :lol:

i know the power will be a lot less but so will the petrol bill but this will be more for looks than power :wink: :wink:

^^ True, I find it hard running mine and couldn't contemplate running a VR especially the way fuel prices have shot up right now!

cheers for the warm welcome all im loving the vw seen and i wanted to stay in there and the polo came up and it looks like a made the right choice in cars :wink: :wink:

Oh yeh theyre pretty damn amazing to own tbh. Dunno what the R plates are like but my 96 has never given me any grief. I should be getting it back today aswell, uim very excited,. More excited then i was to be getting into my Golf for the first time!

well i got the motor and im very happy with it and its got a bit more balls in than i thought it would have :lol: :lol: so let the modding begin :wink:
