Yet another 6n2 gearbox thread (help)

Hi guys,
As you all know the 6n2 has a dodgy gearbox.
Having read through all the current threads, I still need help.

I have a 6n2 1.4 16v. Obviously the gearbox is a little stiff etc but its reverse I am worried about. No matter how hard I try to slow down before putting it in reverse I still get a nasty clunk or crunch. Its ok sometimes and not as bad as it sounds but I am worried since the car is new (or at least I have just bought it)
I think it even slipped out of reverse itself today.

What can I do if anything?

Has anyone had any luck with fixing this?
The forward gears seem to be ok. I bit stiff sometimes but I can live with that. I now dread putting it into reverse.

My reverse gear is a right t**t, the hotter the engine gets, the harder it becomes to select it without that cringing crunch,

Have the gearbox oil changed, I did on mine and it helped alot.

That crunch is terrible, I would have thought the gears wouldnt last doing that every time...

They don't lol, the gearboxes in these cars are ticking time bombs, it sucks
