Bit of photo whoring - Shine shots

Post by Jeff GTi »

seems after all the right work has been done on my little dub over the past few weeks, (G220 with sonus products then an overhall with zymol applied by hand) its only right i show the results off properly eh

well today was a glorious day so i thought, lets get the car cleaned and get a bit snap happy

heres the results

and just because it seemed appropriate ;)

so what does everyone think?

next on the list is some 12 mm hubcentric fk or H&R spacers for some more girth on the standard wheels, and the stock wheels re doing golf gti monza 2 style, which i guess will be easy, as none of the wheels are damaged, just a simple paint grey, diamond turn the faces and laquer

opinions welcomed as always

very nice Jeff as always!! wheels should look good when they are finished!

where are you getting the 12mm hubcentric spacers from? i've looked around for any that are thinner than 20mm and can't find any.

Rimstyle do smaller width spacers, but then you have to buy the longer bolts to go with them, whereas the hub centric ones bolt to the hub which i think is a much better option! easier to change a wheel in a hurry aswell

ya never know mate, ya never know lol

hehe i was thinking more of if you get a puncture and you need to change a wheel quickly ie- on a hard shoulder or something, hubcentric spacers are much easier to fit a wheel to, than having to fiddle with universal ones :D
