nooo....just use a 195/45 on the 8 and 8.5 as that worked perfect for me
i just think a 195/45 on a 9 is silly

Yourt going to have serious ball ache getting thes 16's on whether its 8's, 8.5's or 9's! Front and back will need a fair bit of pulling!

sorry but have to agree with tom here! 195/45 on a 9" rim will just be plain daft!!!!

Here is my 17x9 rado wheels with a 205/40 and i think you'll see the stretch is rather.......pronounced!

you thought your 8.5's were bad tom

baring in mind i ran 205's on my 16" RXII's on the polo and got scrubbing at STANDARD height you are asking for serious problems....and i think they are 6.5 or 7"

Think they are 7's or 7.5's...RXII's cos i think standard GTI 15's are 6.5.

But there you go, thats food for thought! and RXII's arent even a low offset :O

Wide 16's on a polo in my mind are a complete no go unless masses of arch work is done! The look is so much nicer with wide 15's or really wide 14's anyway! 8)

Personally I wouldn't buy them, they'd cause so much hassle, I think realistically you'll be looking at fabricating wide arches on to support them
(Like Andy did http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/v ... hp?t=36654)

They're great alloys but I think your reaching out a bit trying to get them on the polo. Wait for some nice 15X8ers to come along 8)
