Nah you remove the badge, then cut off the melted points that hold the silver bit to the back, they then seperate.

Spray the back, then glue them back together with a heated glue gun or something

What I'd do if I was you Tom, is I'd get another badge from VW and then take it to a bodyshop and ask them to do a complete colour code, VW and the background. My mate done it on his Black Loop and it looks awesome.

Get more photos of the whole car!

i dunno i reckon tims approach looks the best, or smoothed completely, seen a few with all black badges...just looks a bit like half arsed effort to me :?

Aye pal, i'll be at edition38 this year 8) Unfortunately not goingto be at the polo show cos i am offshore at the time :( :( :( So i managed 2 years in a row......the mammoth drive and then work gets in the way of the 3rd! Gutted! But ed should be awesome and GTI international! Also fancy a couple of others, but not sure which yet!

Tom may i ask the condition of the GTI seats? Could cut you a deal on the TT's ;)
