alloy wheel refurb ... help ... whos good?

Post by Jeff GTi »

basically as the title really, im wanting to get my gti wheels painted anthracite and the faces diamond turned, so they are the same style as mk5 golf gti wheels

north west based companys preferred, but willing to travel for the right job

i have 4 perfect condition wheels, no work needed in them bar painting and cutting then laquering

anyone know anyone????????? also a guide price or contact details much appreciated

cheers

I can only recommend Pristine wheels - but they are in milton keynes. they did my TT wheels and the quality is superb.

will cost you more in the long run and your original wheels will be no more! Stop trying to always be "different"

why?, what has me doing as i choose to my car got to do with you, if you dont like it, dont get involved or reply

different is good though, would be boring if everything was the same eh,

as for the wheels being no more, they would still be genuine and be original

and for the record, i have been in touch with pristine wheels and they are going ahead doing my gti alloys, need to make an appointment and take them down, as its a special finish, the process will take overnight, so 48 hours

still a quick turn around i thought

followed the croud, i had one of the first, if not the first polo gti on a uk road, i bought mine and recieved it by accident 3 weeks before the official launch date for the polo gti haha, which i had issues insuring at first as the car i was looking to put on the road, did not yet exist

dont get smart unless you know the facts

if you would like to chase it up, the reg was PJ06GBZ, a red polo gti, only extras was a winter pack and a cd changer

i then sold the car for a golf gti, which i hated, so got a fully loaded polo gti as a replacement, this is my second 9n3 gti now

Interesting, Jeff why did you prefer the Polo over the Golf?

My Polo is the best car i have ever owned and i shall be keeping this one for a good few years to come :D

i did not like the overly refined ride the golf had, it did not feel fast, it felt wrong, i could not stand the hindged accelerator pedal, it was a 5 door and felt heavy and hard work

the polo feels a million times more responsive, more agile and go cart like, these being characteristics i like a car to have, its all about enjoying the ride

got to agree with you their polo much better than the golf for those reasons, shame not more people think that and buy em! But basically its identical to the ibiza cupra really and plenty of them bout!
