Nice one! Are you gonna cut the front panel or relocate the ballasts? I went for cutting!

That reminds me I need some pictures of how a standard GTi is setup, since the wire to the ballast isn't very long and it needs to be located very close to the headlight. If someone would be kind enough to pm me a pic, it would be a great help :D

Ahhh a rare find!! Where du source them to Haris?

The ballasts are connected directly underneath the headlights, so it's almsot all one unit,

You can see it here,

(headlight rear cover is the blck object, grey object is the ballast)

Right got some more updates...

First of all got the headlights fitted, which weren't a straight fit as I was expecting and had to do plenty of chopping :?

Nothing special for the GTi owners, but they are 6000k rating so oem+ :D

Some more stuff arrived too...

Got the headunit fitted with a 160gb ipod and absolutely love it! Still need a 70-50mm reducer for the BMC to fit.

Got some more updates lined up for next week 8)

Thanks for looking,

Haris

Yup I absolutely love them 8) I need some new indicators though, since they look even more scruffy next to the shiny headlights

Looking sweet mate! I love your cold air feed placement also, any idea whether this would work on the GTi?
