That reminds me I need some pictures of how a standard GTi is setup, since the wire to the ballast isn't very long and it needs to be located very close to the headlight. Right got some more updates...
First of all got the headlights fitted, which weren't a straight fit as I was expecting and had to do plenty of chopping
Nothing special for the GTi owners, but they are 6000k rating so oem+
Some more stuff arrived too...
Got the headunit fitted with a 160gb ipod and absolutely love it! Still need a 70-50mm reducer for the BMC to fit.
Got some more updates lined up for next week
