Headlights

Post by polo_dude »

Thinking about smoking the front headlights on my cousins polo and we've heard that it is possible to take the front glass of it by sticking it in the oven so that the glue melts and the glass can be loosened but is it also do able by using a heat gun? Are there any precautions that should be considered?

Hopefully we'll get a DIY up of it and post it up on here aswell!
Cheers

I spoke to a guy who had smoked the front headlights

he brought a plastic protector that goes over the headlights sold by VW, and he sprayed it with black paint that had alot of thinner inn... this made the paint very weak but still dark and glossy.

However that requires having a air compressor and a spray gun.
