Cold feed location

Post by polo-sib »

I replaced the standard cold feed on a 1.4 8V to a 70mm pipe which is reduced to the 50mm on the standard air box and I was wondering where the best place was to place it?

where evers there good ventilation of cold air.

Mine runs out to the wing, but you could also feed it to the grill or lower grill/foglights.

Thanks for that, I fed it to the bottom grill in the corner of the drivers side had to mod the grill as the drivers side has no vents but passengers side has vents, feel a power increase though.

What you think would be better in that corner of the grill or smack bang in the center of the grill?

I reckon by the fog lamp, it's less likely to pick up unwanted sh*t than if it's postitioned head on
