randomage wrote:chop those wheels off as ideas, only the second set id even think about putting on a polo!!! and unless you can get RHD versions of the venom motorsport items, go for the ebay jobs. venoms look better built, but theyre LHD. poo. wheel wise, type in bbs on ebay search, or ats cup or ats classic, those would look sweet on a black olop!
I'm not entirely sure about the LHD things as it says on venom's site:
99% of FK angel eyes have a unique dual purpose switch on the back of the light. This switch allows you to set the beam pattern for either RHD (UK Spec) or LHD (EU Spec)
Which means that there's most likey a chance of getting a switchable one but don't quote me on that as you could be the the unlucky 1% that gets just the LHD ones!

I would give them a ring and specifically order or enquire about the
switchable sets though, before ordering on-line! Just to be on the safe side!

And a great start to the car mate! Has alot of potential!

where in essex you from fella? Havnt seen many other polos round my way, you cant be too far out though seeing as you go UEL!

Im doing a degree thats in partnership with UEL in hornchurch (though im failing as off tommorow).

Hang on a scrappy with loads of polos! Wheres this?? Not steves VW's do you mean?

Id say that was lowered about 35mm, On a guess, the wheels look tiny and the tyres look beefcake so im not sure what to make of it all lol. Apart from that though all you need is that valance sorted at the rear and have the exhaust straightened off and your set.

mine isnt dented there :D id say thats a 40-50mm drop, looking at the arch gap and the distance from the bumpers to the ground. dont quote me on that though :D and if you can get wheels anything like what noz put up, that thing would look the shiz.

Yep the meet takes place at the shopping centre. I used to go UEL Docklands 1.5years ago, loved every min of it and the location for a campus  studied Multimedia Studies but no job yet :x So currently working delivery for the Beckton Sainsbury's.

Anyway, you might not have cash but words of wisdom to carry on saving and buying them later. If you earn 50k annual but lost 1k its no big deal. If you earn 8k and lost 1k its certainly worth worryiing about!

In other words you might buy budget rims and not like them as much as better rims, which you won't be able to afford cos you purchased one of these. Wait a bit saving up and buying something better means your cash has been used for something worth it and you won't have any regrets.

Those rims are FAR better then your previous suggestions. Don't think i've seen them with black centres on anything really! There's some sweet rims on Dubmeister so keep looking.

In £££ terms I understand where your coming from (trust me) but I mentioned it as the first 3 rims you suggested only cost about £100 less then mine. Now when you can get something as good as mine instead of 'Halford spec' rims it shows to look around and be 100% happy with your choice.
