what an awesome day...vip treatment, grid access and some serious cars! i cannot believe how quick the leon tdi is and it only revs up to 4100rpm whereas robs bmw revs out at 8500rpm

looks like you had a wicked day mate! i watched the last race on tv once i'd arisen from a hungover state lol

Jason Plato won again which is good for the tdi, i saw them at Brands Hatch for the first rounds of the series and it was quick then, but they've been working on it to improve it so it must fly now!

ye the leon soooo quiet its wierd....you must have seen me on tv then, when they were interviewing tom chilton in the halfords civic i was stood behind him and my mrs saw me with the blonde bit of stuff!
hopefully going to silverstone too

i only watched the 3rd race mate, and as soon as that finished i had to go and get the mrs! also saw the porkas and the renault stick cars that were on before the BTCC.
did you see the massive crash in the stick cars, i think the car flipped 4 times?

we were having lunch when that crash happened but it looked pretty bad, he was a only a little lad! ye the porsches were pretty quick, there was the clio cup on too but didnt watch that
jason plato is damn quick

yeah the driver in that crash was japanese (explaining the smallness :lol: ), i think it landed on his head 3 times but he still got out of the car unassisted. the car was a mess but the strength of the car was unbelievable!
Jason Plato has always been my fave driver he always seems to be right in the thick of it all the time lol
i also heard he got disqualified from race one? any ideas what happened there?

ye he failed the ride height test at the end of the 1st so he started from te back on race 2 but it only took him one lap to get to 10th pos!

oh right, didn't know you could be failed on ride height, i knew you have to be within a certain weight though. where did he finish in the first race then?

umm i think he was 3rd or 4th....the young vauxhall guy won the 1st two races

yeah i heard that Tom Onslow-Cole won the first 2, hes done well this season, he had a massive crash at Brands in round 3, so hes done well to back from it.
