Rage Exhausts

Anyone had any dealings with these universal backboxes? I only want a box not a system and i want it loud,

Rage tend to be really raspy and Nova-ish (think Civic).

Speedtech make really loud rear boxes... as do Peco

hi there ive got a powerflow custm exaust and its mental, i could choose from loads of exaust tips i went for 6 x 4 oval. sounds mad. you can choose what noise you want etc i went 4 a vr6 sound.
it only cost £150 the trimmed the bumper slightly to fit but is very good job.
theres loads places all over country which do powerflow go yahoo and search!

imo universal backboxes are just that....universal which = crap fitting. im sure someone must do a propper mk5 polo backbox?

i will speak up, the one my bro has got is a remus backbox, i wouldn't call it loud, but it sounds really nice! not to head banging or n e thing like that, to make it louder, changing the air filters for some performance ones may help!

as for the fitment, excellent fitment, fitted perfectly n looks real nice! only thing is, if the exhaust is still the origional, u will have to cut the pipe cause when they put it on it the factory, they put it on in one piece!

the rage cans are soo loud m8
a civic near me has twin rage cans and its a very harsh sounding backbox
might make the classy polo sound tacky!
