shame buddy! They wont fit your Mk4 then unless you plan doing a rear conversion.

your Mk4 uses 239x20mm dimension discs for future reference!

Depends on when it was made whether its vented or not, but don't take my word. Think its anything before R reg is the non vented 239x10, whilst anything R reg and later it the vented 239x18.

ETOS unfortunately doesn't shine much light, all it says is anything with chassis number to this is non vented whilst with this chassis number is vented.

Then you got the bigger size discs which are:
256x20: Model AHS
256x25: Model AJS (I amagine this is the 16v as the rears are discs as well)

well. i bought performance disks and padds. made the world of difefence. on a 1.0 litre you wont need loads of stoping power anyway. but rememberr. your brakes only work if you hav good tyres aswell. otherwise no point in altering brakes. you can only stop as good as your tires :)
