fitting springs

Post by poloboyben »

after realising im goiing to need to lower my polo after getting 16' alloys, ive decided to go fot it. Does 30mm lower sound about right? Im quite mechanically minded and my dad is too, so do u think we could actually fit the springs? Anyone reccomend any? Thanks.

u might need a bit more that 30mm if ur on 16's, 35mm on 15's looks pritty good, we decided to get the veedub garage to do them as the tracking and cambers etc. might be out after fitting the springs!

currently doing mine myself
they are full spax racing coil-overs though
and are hard as nails trying to fit
check out forum >chassis< for more
i've got 16's with 195,45,15 yoko's too and it made the car really high
so hopefully gonna go about -50mm
