polo gti or golf gti

wat u guys think, im thinking of selling my polo gti for golf 1.8 T gti (mk 4), wat u think? polo gives problems, anyone know if golf is more reliable. whats faster and/or smoother?

wat effect will bmc induction kit give polo gti?

also, anyone know where i can get performance clutch for polo gti (later 2001 version)?

The Golf will be a much more refined car and has VASTLY better tuning options...

Think 500 quid for 60bhp more.

BMC gives a good increase in bhp & torque for an Air Filter.

i hate to say it but i fancy changin me polo gti fot the turbo golf

therz always some really smart looking ones at the shows!

i love the polo but fancy somethin a bit bigger, had it for a while and fancy a change.

wots the insurance like on them?

any1 got a link to any good golf pages?

im looking to get tdi but they too expensive as is the fuel economy on polo gti!!! DAMN!!!

LOL, know the feeling. Though bout buying one thinking I'd save loads of fuel costs and then realised just how much it would cost to buy the thing in the 1st place (even a 2nd hand one).
Just checked recently and a new VW Golf 150bhp turbo diesel is around bout Â£19k new

the fact is that a 200hp golf isnt much faster than a polo.....
when it comes to 120-130 km up the golf is faster, but equal to that point, the polo is smaller but handles better that the golf,

so i would think it depends what you want ???
