styling: 16' alloys and einbach sports spring -50mm

16' alloys and einbach sports spring -50mm: How does this combo sound? Will this lowering be about right to close the large gap 16's will leave? Will this combo affect the performance at all ?

i would have thought that it might make u feel the bumps a little more, not sure bout that one though,

hes a very keen lad thats all!
if your worried about what height you wanna go, then go for a set of adjustable coil-overs, they are pricey but you get what you pay for.
the set i opted for has got 28 click adjustable damping front and rear so i can set the dampers up hard or soft at the pop of the bonnet.
its just taking abit longer than i expected to fit them

I originally would never think lowering it 50mm but after realising that every inch in alloy size u go up the car goes up half an inch so with me going up 2 inches the cars gonna go u an inch which is 25mm, so by me loweing it 50mm, ill be just taking 25mm of the stock height, which seems about right as in stock springs there is still a large gap. The springs im going for a the eibach which are meant to be really confortable.

right i've just done all my suspension over 2 days!
polobenboy i've gone -75mm low all round on 16's with no rubbing at all
and it looks phat and very very low

i've yet to test drive it on the road, but may have to fiddle with the damping to get it just right, im on Spax Rsx

yeah it is recommended to have tracking and camber adjusted, i think it stops your tyres wearing out quicker if i remember rightly

Ya i was driveing today and my tracking is alittle out since i had new springs put on , on moday but i gona wait to sort it out cos i should be getting new wheels soon so no point in doing it twice plus where i think i gona get me wheels from they do it for free as part of the service,
