I ordered the 9n3 GTi rear silencer last week for my Polo, went to collect it today. Turned out my main dealer was getting rid of old stock. He said all the stuff there getting rid of is going on ebay if customers dont want it so keep your eyes out for parts for all vw's. I managed to pick up a rear spoiler for my car for Â£43 and apparently they retail at over Â£120 so as you can imagine I was pretty chuffed about this purchase. I think the spoiler is the one from the Votex kit, not sure but it looks good anyway. Also tomorrow ive got a chrome tailgate strip and a rear aero wiper coming so got plenty to be doing to my car now. I'll post some pics when everything has been sorted out.

Out of interest how much was the rear silencer, was thinking of getting one for my 9n Polo GT?

the rear silencer was just under Â£125. and the part number if you need is 6Q6253609BN.

Is it a straight swap for the old rear box?

for my car it isnt a straight swap cus its only a 1.2 and all the pipework is smaller than a gti. the company that is fitting the exhaust for me is putting an adaptor into my exhaust line which will make it fit. i think they said the pipe is called a reducer or something like that. not sure if it will be a straight swap for a gt.
