Autodata says on 6n you can't use that trick, dealer only job. Unless its build date is after 10/1999 :s

dude, kinda sucks. hope you get it sorted. like modr.eu said said see if you can get curries to pay buddy (might wanna see if you still have the receipt for the batteries might help your case)
