For those with faulty pedal box pictures...

...could you please post them here? There was a thread from before but none of them will show now.

Im trying to look at mine from the drivers footwell, but i can't seem to find anything damaged, maybe im looking in the wrong place?

The box does not crack, its the single weld that snaps. so if you look at the pictures, then just imangine a snap in the weld!

Pictures of a pedal box which cracked at the clutch mount weld, which was then re-enforced can now be found on the last page of the pedal box thread.

thank you! thats pretty much what i wanted to see. just need to have another look and see if i can work out where it is.

Is it viewable from under the pedals or from under the car?

Not from under the car I don't think (not sure though). I'll go have a look to see if it's visable in the footwell now.

Yeh you can, I'd recommend using a mirror and torch, it's a bit dis-orientating but you can see it.
