please please help does any1 no if 6spoke S3 225/17 wheels would fit with out rubbing on my 9n3 polo please help coz really really bored of my standard 14s

What width are the alloys?

tyres that are 225 wide will not fit.

if its old s3 yes cos the stud pattern 5x100 but new s3 is 5x112 so wont fit!!! and you will need 205/40/17 tyres or 215/35/17 tyres!

so if i changed the tyres from 225/45/17s to 215/35/17s they'd fit

They'd fit with the tyres that are on there now, but you'll get incorrect speed readings etc.

Therefore ideally you want a 40 profile tyre.
