camshaft sensor- effects

Post by vixpolo »

Ok guys i took my polo 1.2 s 52 reg to the garage, they guy kindly for free hooked up a computer i think a vagcom or something, it said there is a fault on the camshaft sensor.

My question is if it is faultly does the limit the car to only 3k? is this some sort of safety thing the car does for its own good?

Help me please

stop making new topics LOL

when he plugged in the computer did he now go into detail about it?
if not i'd get him to look at the whole car for you.

or even take it to vw to get it vagcom'd up..

sorry i keep making new topics i just keep thinking ppl wont read the old ones

Well he did it for free so didnt go into detail but, he did erase some faults, he said the car has been messed about with. He did say that when ppl take off the sensors it comes up as faults on his computer and the only fault that keeps showing is a camshaft sensor.
