just wanted to no from everyone is wether you go through wheel bearings lik no tomorrow with having wider wheels or aftermarket/dished wheels. ive got a polo 1.4 16v slammed on its arse and ive had new tyres for the standard SE wheels today but was thinkin of getting 15" shmitt TH lines but width of 7 inches but with my standard wheels being only 6 inches wide the bloke who i was fitting my tyres said with it being wider i would tend to go through wheel bearings like s**t... justwanted a lil info on how all you guys are getting on and what wheels your running eg ET width inch problems and with a hard slam do you hit your arches...any informaion will be very much appreciated i will need to no weather to get saving or not lol

I've got 15X8s all round, et25. Lowered probably about 70mm.
I've just spent two afternoons tweaking the coilovers so I don't get any scrubbing, but at the same time having them as low as possible.
I wouldn't worry too much about knackering wheel bearings on 7js, if you get the camber and tracking done you'll be fine. they may wear slightly faster but were not talking half the life span.
