Project white 6n

Post by Glover12 »

Just thought id share with you the white 1 litre of mine:

Image
Here it is when i brought it,i got it for £1200 from a dude near sheffield, the car had 50k on the clock.

Image
This is another pic of when we went to look at it.

The first thing i did was give it a new set of black badges at the same time i took the polo badge off from the back also i will be getting the back badge recess filled in at some point.

i am also going to be spraying the wheels a matt black colour soon to go with the black and white scheme and also to cover the rust :P
so i took the chance of a nice sunny saturday to get start on the black wheel hubs, that i want to stay standed looking ish!
first of all i lightly sanded them down then gave them 3 coats of paint then sanded once again ,i also sanded the vw inserts. Then gave it two
layers of laquer to finish them.

That was my first time spraying plastic.im reasonably pleased with the finish to them.i have got some aero wipers at the front now aswell.

Future plans
TT pedals
Some wheels hopefully next summer
A new head unit

Sorry about the poor image quality there from my phone.
i will be updateing this thread soon
would like some feed back
cheers guys

Get all the badges and rubstrips removed for a clean look. if you want to do the white and black theme then keep the rubstrips lol

Here's what yours could look like. Think Haris took the pic at Inters

Its been a while since i updated this thread, a couple bits have been done whereas i still have a lot to do
Firstly i finished the wheels in a matt black
Image
And here they are on the car.

Then i bought some number plate surrounds (cheers sarah)which i think make it look pretty good.
