Confused about my POLO.

I always believed my Y-Reg polo (1.0 3dr) was a MKIIIF according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen ... .932000.29, until I saw the pics here, which indicate it's in fact a MKV. I am lost. :roll:

you car is an mk3f/6n2/mk5

they are just model numbers from europe i think the mk5 is just what we call them but official their known as a mk3f( "f" means facelift) and the mk4 is a mk3, mk3 is a mk2f and a mk2 is a mk2
