One reverse light gone. Help needed.

Post by bmoon608 »

Happy to have found this great site for polos cause I recently bought a Y-Reg polo MKV 1.0 3dr (although it looks more like a MKIII according to pics on wiki  ).

Here is the problem. I noticed one of the reverse lights was never on. I first suspected it's the bulb, but after I swaped the bulbs, it's proved not true - the bulb works on the other side. So, what the problem can be? Is this still DIYable or I have to go to the garage? Thanks in advance.

Re Mk's: Thats a Europeon Thing. You have a Mk5 / 6N2.

Do any other lights work on that side? Could be a loose connection
