Returning to standard.....ish

Post by Andy1.6 »

Ive had an idea, I've just got rid of my old alloys so Im back on standard valver alloys.

Im refurbing them this weekend and have some low profiles on order.

Im thinking spacers too..

What do people think? Will it just look too standard? As its only lowered 40mm.

Or if you can see me train of thought, any other ideas?

Just fancy a change really!

what were your other alloys?

I think if you put some large spacers on it, and got a real low stance it'll look awesome!

What colour you doing them?

I had BMW E30 alloys on them which were quite cool, but I just got abit bored.

That was what I was thinking but I want it to look quite standard unless you're in the know...

Im going to do them in silver still, But I would like to have a really pale silver so they look whiteish in some lights, like they do now but more! Any hints on silvers that will achieve this?

You got any pics of them? (your old alloys I mean).

I think lowering and spacing will give it a standard look. For it will jsut be a standard car with a better stance!

Theyre 14"s which I think is what I want! Just need the new tyres! My back two are very illegal!

My spoiler and things are on now as well. Im obsessed with black roofs at the moment but I dont think it would be worth it on my car!

As you've only dropped it 40mm the valver alloys will look standard. However, to make do with what you got, get stretched tyres and 20mm spacers for the rear with 10mm on the front maybe.
