Coilover Question

Can someone confirm or deny my theroy on lowering and highering the coilover?

Is it correct that to higher the car you spin the ring on the coilover up and to lower you spin it down?

funny u should say that, i got told the other way around as well..... but thought to myself na that aint right......... so when i fitted my coilies i found out for myself which is which and that is right, to lower the springs go down and to raise it they go up. quiet obvious i would of thought.
