spraying wiper arms?
spraying wiper arms?
is it a case of just taking them off, sanding down and spraying?

I'm not gonna go copying your ideas now, but I am quite interested in how you did those handles
Mine are all flaking and I was planning on just getting new ones as they are scratched also, but if I can do something similar to this and have a rather unique look as well as saving some money might be something worth doing

No I don't wanna go copying, it just seemed like a better way of sorting the handles out without buying whole new handles when they are just flaking.3LL1077 wrote:3LL1077 wrote: So copying then

I was quite tempted to just spray them a sort of matt black colour or something. But I think I would be just better off getting the new handles
I was thinking of fabric spraying them or something black.alexperkins wrote:Ah fair. Interesting to see you have the cloth door card insertsBetter than my first car
1.0E! but oh the taste of GTI mmm
They look a bit tatty IMO Alex. What do you think?
Thing is, if i do decide to do it, they will either look runnish, or great.
Either way im stuck with it if i do decide to do it as the inserts are part of the door card....hmm

Ah ok mate ill give that a goalexperkins wrote:I think they are niceWith a GTI interior they look superb. Just get some Autoglym Foam Cleaner on them - itll bring the fabric up a treat!
If you do spray it, you only have one shot so mull it over carefully buddy!
I might try and pick up a cheap door card somewhere. Could you keep an eye out for me Alex?
Just to use it as an experiemtn to see how it turns out!
thanks for your help Alex
