Ahh loads of time to get that car smoothend. all the usual things, Remove bump strips, makes the car look alot smoother, makes a hell of a difference. Clear front indecaters and side repeaters. Wheels, like you said, this site is full or useful tips and the DIY section is a great help. Alot of the guys will answer any questions. Helped me out loads.

welcome mate, very nice starting base and better make sure it stays red and doesn't turn pink!

Like mentioned above, polo's usually look best smoothed off so removing all the little attachments and things that stick out like a sore thumb is where you start.

Welcome to the Forum. :D

I see from your pics someone has already removed the side rub-strips & put on clear front indicators, so thats saved you some time & effort.

Get yourself some clear side repeaters (match the fronts!), will only cost a few quid & are a doddle to fit too! Have a look for a nice (not chavvy) set of lights for the rear. Nice little bee-sting aerial to replace that HUGH long thing!

Future mods could include (once you're roadworthy) coilovers (get it on the deck!) & a nice set of wheels

Looking good for the first car, you chose the best colour too!

Keep it that way, lowered on new rims, colour code the handles, clear side repeaters and bee sting aerial... you know it makes sence 8)

thanks for all the comments emr it has had the door painted
roof is startign to loose colour with bonnet but ill buff it up and wax it when i have time

as on the reverse front used spray grease on all linkages made a big difference so
i think ill have them all off and grease tehm prpoperly when i do a full service on sunday may as well while im on the ramp good plus with my job i work in body and paitn shop so i get use of all teh tools just in process of spraying the ofs rear quater as it has a small dint and scuff primed it tonight ready for flattign of tmoz and spray sat i hope it had a few ditns and scraps on sills so i just fillled and stone chipped then tbh they looked betetr than i expected

erm they r a set of bbs wheels at work tryed tehm on thye look nice on the car just not my taste

reason the bump strips r off its when tehg door was resprayed we just took other one of to save buyign a new one as it was bent teh idiot who worked for my boss then tryed reversign out of the dorr with the door open bent it back on its self but its ok now i think i might spray the handels acutally whil the quater is in the booth any sudgesions on rims ? as mine r altlel bit shockign to sya teh least
