Ok well I will try taking it back to the garage again as the light just won't go off now and if not ring the AA cos somethings not right.

Fuel is a bit on the expensive side at the moment anyways, so I will stick with regular unleaded for now :D

I just purchased a VAG-COM cable and went out and plugged it into my polo and found 2 faults when I did a check on the "01 - Engine"

They are as follows;

17811 - EGR System: Regulation Divergence

P1403 - 35-00 - -

16785 - EGR System: Insufficient Flow

P0401 - 35-00 - -

Anyone know what these mean? I am going to phone up the garage again and I just want to know what they are before I do :)

I have just read through some of the warranty paperwork that I got when I purchased my car. It's through a company called "Car Protect"

Ringing them tomorrow, one of their garages will diagnose the problem and then have the repair sorted :)

Why is yours not going to be done until the 25th?

Just phoned them, they are F***ing useless.

They basically said that because the fault has been occurring since I got the car, it may be a prominent fault with the car since before I bought it which means I could be liable for any costs as it doesn't sound like it started after I purchased it which is what my warranty covers :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

They advised me to phone the garage I purchased it from, and strangely after basically shouting at him down the phone he asked me when I could bring it in for a look. So Tuesday, 7.00AM next week I am dropping it off before work and so help him if he tells me there is nothing wrong with it. I have evidence this time :twisted:

I don't know if this has ever been started, but could we possibly start a garage reviews section so we can 'name and shame' the garages providing poor service. I really don't want someone to have the same problems as me by going to this garage.
