The MFD was easy to fit! Just like a normal single din unit. U need to buy a Plug and Play adapter and an Antenna. Its easy to see where both fit in though. The sound quality improves dramatically! Always a bonus!!

I paid about £230 for mine, it was pretty much brand new. The previous owner had it factory installed in a 2007 VW Caravelle. However I did have to pay for a GPS antennae £15, Plug+Play adapter £25, and because I wanted to watch videos I bought an AV adapter £70.

The AV adapter was the hardest thing to install. Im kind of a novice to electrical stuff so I may have made a mistake but whenever music was played through the adapter, I could hear engine noise from the speakers. It probably wasnt earthed properly :? Eventually I decided to power it through the cig lighter. It is now noise free.8)

The AV adapter connects to my Ipod Video via Ipods TV cable and u can watch vids on the MFD as long as the adapter is powered but only music if no power.

Overall I think it was well worth it. :D

I got it from ebay..cant find the seller that i bought it from anymore but this guy seems ok, Item number: 110297116262

Hope that helps mate, its really easy to fit the whole thing together.

The only problem I had, was that initially the GPS antennae thing, wouldnt pick up any satellites. But after a couple of days it automatically started to pick them up.

I had to stick the antennae to the dashboard (with velcro) to get any reception. You cant really notice it, unless u look really hard.

Anything else just ask.

The red button is to override the 'safety switch' on the mfd unit ie U can watch videos while u drive..

I think the standard connection fits into the plugnplay wire..but cant quite remember, will get sum pics in daylight.

The gps and standard antennae have different input plugs.

But i'll put some picks up tomorrow anyway.
