Thanks for the kind words guys!

James - I knew it would get your GTi juices flowing

Alex - thanks alot mate, appreciate it!

Elliott - We should! we'd have to find a decent central spot though, which according to the 'South West Meet' thread is impossible to find lol

Cheers mate,

Got quite a few plans, some already starting to develop.

Short shifter, Strut braces, Rear ARB, Diamond cut wheels, New sound system. And some sort of interior (still not decided!)

Cheers mate.

You simply unscrew the the caps off, cut the thread down and pop the caps back on!

No adhesive is necessary either, the sharp edge of the metal wire holds the caps on perfectly.

I measured them before hand to work out how much needed to go. It was so long ago now I can't remember though! Maybe like 2cm?

Great pic, looks really mean from the front. Black rear view mirror makes a hell of a difference on your car. Not a fan of the tints, makes it look too van like for my taste.

Need some Osram Diadems in there tim. Get rid that orange and match the HIDs :D

I think I will get a set for mine. Either that or LED ones, but finding them is just hassle.

The door pins - you need to cut off so much till you got bout 2mm or a little bit less of thread left. Dont cut them to bare metal :)
