I see, thanks for clearing that up for me :)

Well they are now on my list to be changed :P My Gti honeycomb grill is arriving tomorrow along with new "xenon effect" lamps for now and a new rear black badge.

Also got an alarm going in next week :D

Any ideas on the cat guys? Do you get emission tested on your MOT? Would a performance cat have a similar impact without failing MOT?

Yea you do get emissions tested on an MOT and you need a cat to pass mate.

De-cating a car will fail on MOT on emissions...unless your friendly with the MOT people 8) but yeah other options could be a high flow cat just to be on the legal side! or taking the cat out and making abit of pipe to bridge the cat therefore when your MOT comes around just swop the pipe and cat over.

no problems mate im learning something new everyday. Today i found out that a 147 GTA is s**t to work on and they dont like going round corners! :twisted:
