Climatronic on a 1.4SE

Post by NFS »

Does any1 here now whether you can fit the Climatronic unit fount on 6N2 GTI's onto a 6N2 1.4SE model?

Also when you lower your car do you just need new springs that are lower than the originals or do you need the shock absorbers that go inside the spring aswell?

It depends how low you go. Anything up to 45mm is ok on factory shocks

As for the air con, this is not possible due to the fact its two totally different engine and interior looms. The cost of these would outspend the value of the car, not to mention the compressor, radiator, all the piping. It simply wouldnt be worth the hassle of doing
