Lowering

Post by crodgers »

Can anyone recommend a reasonable lowering kit and a good size that isnt likely to rub when i have people in the back and speedbumps etc etc. The rims i have on now are standard vw 14" i think and i am hoping to put 15" Solitudes on!

Cheers!

40mm, or 60mm.

Would go for 40mm if you are not replacing the dampers.

60mm drop on a PhilJ kit would be adequate enough if you have 195/45/15 tyres on. I doubt you'd ever have troubles with scrubbage.

Would that be 60/60? I just want a nice drop. Nothing too major. If i didnt go with the solitudes would this still look good on smaller wheels?
