Lol it comes back Wednesday.

Plan is as follows:

Wednesday: Fit all body parts, inc headlights, mirrors, boot lock, spoiler back onto car

Install LED side repeaters

Install remainder of audio wiring inc 3 door speakers and amp/sub combined

Install new HU into GTI for listening pleasure :)

Fit new rear panels and rear arch liners

Fit new badges to tailgate

And anything else thats needing fitting will be fitted.

Sunday:

Valet GTI and GT1 top to bottom and get it absolutely spotless - treat leather and condition all other internal surfaces

Wednesday: Finish cleaning the GT1 in preparation for the weekend, and switch wheels over.

Saturday: Insured on the GTI

Sunday: Working, then delivering the GT1 to its new owner.

Happy days!!

Basically, when I took the roof lining down to replace the aerial, the clips that hold the vertical plastic right at the back had snapped, both sides and along the middle of it.

Therefore I had to order a whole new plastic set - its quite cheap, but still hassle i kinda wanted to avoid!
