Will this fit a MK4?

Hi all,
Was looking on ebay for a cheap backbox for my Polo and came accross one that says it is for a Golf but also says its universal. In the listing it says "this is a universal back box it mostly fits all the vw". Do you reckon he's just listed it as Golf so that when people type in Golf back box it comes up?

I tried emailing the seller but haven't yet had a reply..

I'd say yes, but i'm not 100%. Buy it and try. If it don't fit, sell it on

Take one from a fellow forum member, i'ev got a 2nd hand one laying about for nowt! Its a jap style universal box with a 4" burnt tip. I only want Â£25 and postage can be included later if the buyer wants courier.
