Polo MK5 engine electrics check light ?????? any help?

I have a polo mk5 and the engine electric light come sup with check. The light comes on and off and runs fine when the light is on but when the light starts flashing the car loses some power in lower gears and goes along like its missing a beat or misfiring so to say. Anyone have any solutions or ideas of what it may be?? Just weird becuase its intimitant

The engine check light can be alot of thing, it's normally emissions related.

You may of already heard this, but get it down to VW and get them to run vagcom through it, to see what the ECU is kcicking up about.

yeah looks like thts gona be the nxt thing had the normal diagnostics which is comin up with combustion failure on cylinder 3 but will take it to vw hopefully should get it sorted just dont wnt it comin back up again
