Had it looked at today.

Had the tracking done, but they cudnt srot the wheel. So a waste of Â£25 i really dont have atm *cries*

But i took it to a VW mechanic place, and it would appear i need a new hub, the banging sound is my tyre hitting the spring due to the extreme camber

Oh ****. Well chin up mate, think you were lucky to escape with out a lot more damage. It always seems the smaller you think it is the higher the cost is.
