Post by Torq-Al »

Put my new, (2nd hand off ebay!) mesh grille on today, what do you all think? Look ok? :D

Looks sleek mate. I would prefer it without Racing R. But I like things suttle.

Any other plans?

Cheers, Put the 'R' badge on for a bit of interest & for something different!

Planning to put coillies & poss a set of G60's on. Plus all 4 doors really need a blow over, as found out how bad they were on the lower half when i took off the rub-strips (full of filler on pass. side & a few dints on drivers door on the waistline), put 'em back on quick!

Glad you like it too, I was torn between this one or standard badgeless grille. This one I got off ebay for £16 posted, so that made my mind up! Got the 'R' badge seperate to make it a bit more 'unique' to me!

And no, I didn't nick ya wipers! Too far to Hull!

Yeh! Someone who thinks like me. Felt the blue badge would be nice but not to in ya face, plus I can use a blue/silver theme thru' other bits I may do on the car. :D Well thats the idea!

Looking good. I'm quite fond of those grills and i think the badge sets them off. The dubs starting to pull together now. :D

Thanks mate! Its's strange, never had the urge to mod a car before. Get the Dub, & it's bitten me!

Looking good guys :)

You know its funny, the minute i stick an 'edition' foil down the side of my car, I have a person rip it out of me, but things like R and Wolfsburg Edition are even more suggestive lol :P

Regardless, I think both look great :) Uniqueness is a step in the right direction!

As for wipers, its amazing how many people have adopted the Aero replacement blades. Who got theirs from VW?
