MK2 golf fittings

hello
i heard that things like brakes are the same fitting as the MK4 polo, does this mean a brake kit for te MK2 golfs will fit the polo????

this doesnt help at all but i heard that the floorplan of the golf2 is the same as the polo4

are you reffering to the brake disc size ?

standard Mk2 set up is 239mm (GTI 16v has 256mm)

and I think the mk4 poo is also 239mm ? is that right

if so there is a whole range of good drilled / grooved ventilated brakes out there to help the cause of stopping polo's

i was referring to brakes and weather a HI-SPEC kit for the MK 2 golf would fit???
