Gutting!!!!

I've had that done to me before so I know what its like.

Any idea who did it or why.

The only reason I could think of when I had it done to me was because I had an England flag over the parcel shelf (this was a few years back when during Euro2004).

There are some scumbags out there

Don't know why or whom has done this.

I'm still completely speechless.

Gues it's just pure jealousy.

Thank god for insurance. This is going to cost alot of euros to get painted.

"Unfortunately it was done outside my house."

That was what I was afraid of, this means it’s someone local and there’s a possibility that they could do it again, have a think have you any issues with neighbours or locals, have any other cars been damaged, either the same day or within a few weeks or so, are you on a main road or near a pub or a bar, I think you might have to seek alternative parking for a while, because if you get that repaired and it happens again.

It is deep enough, no way I could polish it out.
I can only hope that the new paint will match the rest of the car.

I was also considering about painting the whole car in a totally different colour. Well maybe not totally different but still. The colour that I've had in my mind since the last Polo is Lamborghini gray.

Could be a nice colour or maybe it would not.

You guys tell me...

Well a decent respray in a completely different colour would set you back into the multi thousands, seems a bit of a step up from a £500 scratch repair!
