Remote central locking kit, any good?

Post by Dub1 »

Thinking of getting this kit for my mk4, wondering if anyone has purchased it?

i'm thinking £26 for this, it ain't going to be up to much, i might be wrong but it looks like hours of fun in tescos car park with just about everyone's remote keys opening and closing your car every two minutes..
And you know it isn't going to work the first time it's pissing down and you need to get into the car..

i'm prob just being a Pessimist..

this is a good piece of kit had it for about a year now, hasnt gone wrong on me yet. closes the windows & sunroof automatically too, which is very useful in the summer (although it can be annoying when your in other peoples cars and they're windows don't close automatically). can open my boot with it too. I have delocked handles and no boot handle so it's my only means of getting in to my car! and a plus point is that it looks like the vw flip keys.

i also done a guide on how to wire it up in the DIY section
