Time to start looking for some wheels

Post by david burton »

OK guys (and girls), I've been looking for some wheels today. I want euro-look but don't want to spend an arm and a leg on em. I really like the Ronal R10's but when browsing I came across (not literally) some Borbet Design T's and Design E's

www.dubmeister.co.uk have em.

They have a nice amount of dish, are fairly wide and I love em! At 75 quid each they aint too bad on the bank either. i would like them to have a more polished finish, but that would probably cost a fair bit more!

So - Borbet's or Ronals, or any other ideas?

Nah it's just me playing. Ronals are cool. I'm keeping mine, even when I thought of selling them... to get some 15" P slots. I saw the R10's popping up everywhere and got a bit bored with them. Now I think they're still the right wheels for my car.

Borbets are cool too. Good wheels to get some dish!

yeah - I rung them up and she quoted me more! not impressed. I'm after the 7 x 15's (I did consider the 8 x 14's 8) ) but she quoted 77 quid each plus a 30 quid charge to get them in!

huh?!

anyhow, I was mighty tempted with them ebay wheels, but the seller has sent me 4 high res pics and the wheels are in a sorry state - can't help thinking they might be buckled too.

I've found some more on ebay that need refurbing - might go for them instead.

I've got 15" 7.5" wide OZ Racing F1 cups with 40 profile tyres on my mk4 with a 60mm drop the finish is in a titanium colour and are that little bit diffferent and they still have a bit of a dish on the rim.
