Boot vibrations on a MKV

Post by VwPo1o »

I have an MKV. I have a 12" sub in the boot and two 6"x9" and two 8" speakers on the shelf. But the stupid boot keeps on vibrating when i pump up the bass. I know its the boot lock, but what do i do. I don't think sound proofing would work unless i cover the lock with the stuff. Can i do that? will it work?

i get the same problem mate. Ive tried everything(well almost everything) its like the whle hatch vibrates or somethin. I even took the plastic bit away on the hatch and put brownbread down(like dynamat) and I also put a little foam wadding. Still didnt kill it. Maybe I will try more when I can be arsed lol.
