Want to fit a HID kit, just a few questions...

Post by lolhoward »

I want to upgrade my normal beam bulbs (H7) to HID. I have seen the proplus set on hids4u for £99.

Anyone got this? Also Any pics?

And how easy are they to fit. If possible could you give me a sort how to do so. I know they'll come with instructions but I just want an idea as I dont want to alter much.

One last thing. I have just bought new headlamps. Will HID's work ok with these or do I need GTi headlamps?

Cheers Guys

This is definitely the kit to get mate, I'd recommend getting 6000k bulbs.

The kit is literally plug in a play, you just have to find an appropiate place to house the ballasts.

If you can get hold of GTi headlamps, by all means mate get them. But standard 6N2 lamps would do just fine.

Just put off by that the 35W come with a 2 year warranty where as it doesn't look like the 55W do.
