help with wiring

Post by flukeone »

Hi all

I'm in the process of relocating my indicators and wash/wiper switches to the dashboard (i'm prepping for rally if you wonder why) and i need some help to sort out the wires.

The car is a 6n polo. anyone knows which wire does what?

This harness goes to the wiper/washer activators (rightside of steeering wheel)

This one is for the flash and i suspect for the horn

these are for the indicators i guess

I would really appreciate if you guys can help me out with the color code

I've tracked down quite a few of the wires but i'm not sure if your discarding the connectors and taking your feeds off the fuse board or what, prob best to get yourself a Haynes.

I'm discarding the connectors and hardwiring them to switches on the central console.

unfortunatly i'm having a hard time finding a haynes manual for the polo (live in mauritius.having hard time finding everything). Anyone with the manual who can scan that page please? :(

Yeah i know, but he was the only guy doing worldwide postage, even at his price it would work out cheaper then me buying one and sending it on..

I'm off to the outlaws for a few days and will sort out the wiring codes when i get back monday, unless someone can scan the few pages in the meanwhile..hint hint..lol
