got some coilies 4 the car now, just wondering....

i've heard you can only go down a max of like 80mm ish cos the driveshaft hits on the anti roll bar. any way to solve this?

remove the ARB / fit a upper strut brace

I have different droplinks to change the angle of the arb so it doesn't hit off the shafts.
That way I keep the arb :roll:

Probably one of the best handling polo's on the road as it's got a brace too!

can you get them for the polo then? I've seen them 4 the mk4 golf cos i know tht has the same issue. if u dnt mind me asking, where did u get them cos i wana b able 2 go as low as i want.

hi guys

decided 2 fit the coilovers 2day and had a big problem. couldnt get the driveshaft retaining bolt off so couldnt actually remove the front struts :( any1 know what size socket is needed cos i tried a few from motorserv with no luck! devastating.....thought the car was guna b on its arse 2day haha

any help wud b wicked :D

you dont have to remove that just remove the 3 botls on the ball joint, the bottom strut bolt and hit the hub down

hi there mate

i've got hot tuning coilies off ebay :D haha theyre actually really impressive for the price. At the minute i'm at about a 100mm drop but when i get my new wheels i'll wind the all the way down (120mm! :D haha)

i'm always working on a sunday so havent made it down :( i'll be at the next meet (if theres guna b one b4 edition) and i'll b at edition too :D

should get my wheels on this weekend! 8)

Sounds good mate, I ordered my coilies tonight lol, come say hi, theres bound to me and Josh there both in 9n's. I'm gona get some piccies up when I get a chance over the weekend. :D
